The fixtures are installed in the basement bathroom and working finally. It’s going to end up being pretty nice down there; I’ll never get any sunlight.
Now I just have lots of painting and trimming to do.
The sunroom / clay studio is almost finished, and the sound room and basement bathroom are coming together pretty quickly, so I’m pretty excited about getting the house to the point where nothing looks like a disaster or a construction project.
The contractor who is doing the basement has been very good to work with so far, and I can’t wait to unpack all of my musical equipment that has been mostly packed for the past 11 months.
Now I need a new music computer and some studio monitors.
So, I started using last.fm back in the fall because I like music and I like statistics. Tonight I just listened to my 5,000th track. The median track time in my iTunes library is 3:34, so that means I’ve probably listened to about 300 hours of music between my computer and my iPod in the past 166 days. I guess that’s not really that impressive.
I have a promotional code that gives $30 off on new signups at DreamHost.
Just enter the code THIRTYOFF during the signup process.
I have been very satisfied with the service, and they offer tons of storage and bandwidth for not too much money. I think that plans start at $7.95/month. It’s not the cheapest service out there, but they have excellent technical support and customer service, and they offer PHP 5, MySQL 4.1, Ruby on Rails, and lots of other fun stuff to play with.
We have a lot of work ahead of us!
This will be the place where I divulge public information about amg from now on.
